1997 f150 4×4 v8xlt the truck has a v8 mustang motor with less than 90000 mile

The truck has a v8 mustang motor with less than 90000 miles on it its loud someone cut the converters off but the truck runs great the 4x4 ran good the problem is I was coming home n something kept triggering the 4x4 switch to try n switch was told by a machanic that he owns several f150 that if there connections is dirty it will cause it to jump n there is two hoses that runs to the switch one puts air one takes n it controls the 4x4 said there could be a bad hose I went n bought a switch but it's a little different than mine I didnt think it matter but it does n the older man that use to drive the truck changed from turning the key to pushing it cause he could turn cause of his authorits but I wanted to change it back n when the truck jump into neutral when I was going down the road still havent got that all fixed but can start under the hood it had a battery n I tripped n fell it busted so no battery it has 2 rust spots will need to be hauled can start it have a video message me
